Chuck, just wanted to say thanks for being so diligent about this crazy problem, I spent around 5
hrs trying to find a fix on the Microsoft site, then gave up and decided to search using Excite,
that is where I found your fix page...My programs work again...

Thanks indeed..

Thanks so much for fixing my CTL3D32.DLL problem. Don't ask me how I
found your web site, just kept bumping around the web looking for
CTL3D32.DLL and ended up here. I'll add your link to my home page and
maybe some other lost souls will find their way to your fix! Seems
there is always someone, somewhere on the web, who can solve your
problems, all you need is persistance to find him.

THANKS AGAIN!

Chuck,

The subject line says it all. Windows 95 suddenly gave me the "This
application is using an incorrect version of CTL3D32.DLL" error message. I
searched the entire Microsoft web site, but all I found were help files
telling me that I should get the newer version of CTL3D32.DLL -- of course,
Microsoft didn't tell me where to get such file. After several false
searches on the web, I finally got your site, which, incidentally, has a
well-designed, clean interface. Thanks for saving me hours of grief.

a search for the category of ctl3d32.dll yielded a lot of sites where
people complained of their problems, but no one really had a solution.
Your site had the required fix. Thank you very much for making the effort
and making it easier for us. Thanks again.

Hi,

I recently came across your page on ctl3d32.dll (funny... this problem
always seems to come up every couple months...)

Well, the point is, I just wanted to say thanks for offering it. I
searched MS for about 30 minutes, gave up, found your site in about 2
and got the file immediately.

Thanks!

Hello Chuck !

Just wanted to say "thanks" on the CTL3D32.DLL file. I ran into the exact
problem that you just described, and, thankfully, there are still
consciencious people around, (that being you:), that actually have a link
to the file in need.
Nice page layout by the way !

Thanks Chuck. Since installing my Scanjet 5P software I've been getting
the dreaded ctl... message. Since I'm a computer technician for the
local school system, I thought it might be wise to find out what
happened to my '95 ctl... and where it went. After researching my vast
library of '95 resources I came up with nothing. I should have gone to
the net first, because within 5 minutes the problem was solved.
Thanks again,

After spending at least two hours browsing the Microsoft and HP web-sites
to find a solution to the problem you describe, I finally ran an Alta Vista
search and came upon a reference to your site!!!

Now my customer is happy that his new HP ScanJet 5P is fully functioning
with his software. I dropped a note to HP's feedback and don't anticipate
they will do anything about this...

Charles,

Thanks for answering my question and setting me up with the correct
ctl3d32.dll for my windows/system. I had planned to search in vain for
a couple of hours, but your page grabbed me by the collar and forced me
to look in the right direction.

If you get a chance I'd love for you to look at my page about my 1981

Thanks again for saving me from an ugly and unsatisfying web walk.

Chuck,
Thanks for your web page with the corrected version of this .dll file. I
just installed a scanner and started getting "the message" and it scared me
to death. I did an AltaVista search on the .dll name and you came out on
top. Your page explained it very well and I felt comfortable downloading
the file. Thanks again.

Happy Holidays!

Just a quick note of thanks for your page.

I got the exact error that your page mentions and was a bit agitated.

I did two things:

1. Logged onto the Microsoft site and searched for CTL3D32.dll and spent
agaes going through multiple references to this file

In the mean time in another browser:

2. I logged onto Hotbot entered CTL3D32.dll and your page was first of
the rank and solved my problem straight away.

Moral: Microsoft is not user friendly.

Thank you for your page!!

Charles,

THANKYOU.

This is ONE for those who say there is NOTHING useful on the net.

All I did was go to AltaVista, type in 'ctl3d32' and the FIRST result
pointed to EXACTLY what I was looking for.

search engine and up poped your page at the top with a simple solution. Great!
Thanks again.
